take your time..

I’ve been home now about a week after probably the strangest tour I have ever been on.. It wasn’t the bands, or the people, or the shows.. It really was just a catalyst for everyones future and new things. When you love what you do work is not work, and that’s how it has been for us. After making “Everything’s Fine” we dove straight into the All Time Low tour, then to the UK, then Japan, straight into this past summer tour with WTK. Needless to say, we were all fucking exhausted. When you’re going going going it’s so easy to lose your “ness” and despite my optimism my ness needed to be revamped. After coming home and seeing the people i’ve grown up with and Arizona you realize things change but nothing really does. I’ve been so afraid that if I don’t sprint as fast as I can life will blow right past me, but that’s just not true. When I was at my lowest this band gave me a reason to get back up on my feet and make something of myself and make something of us. Since i’ve joined i’ve been running like Forest fuckin Gump, running from ever being that low again. Frankly, i’m sick of running. Fuck it. The proverbial shit will hit the fan again for all of us, and it’s up to us to get back up and start again. Knee’s will be scraped, loves will be lost, bad shit will happen, but we can’t hold ourselves back from loving every second of it. Be yourself and unafraid.

I’ve chosen to come home and take my time.
